The Not-So-Fairytale Wedding
Everyone knows this story—or at least bits and pieces of it. Five years ago, in the middle of a global pandemic, we got married from our apartment sofa in Dubai. No aisle, no guests, no webcam—just some outside-the-box thinking, determination, and a first child on the way. Since then, life has unfolded beautifully. With Ada and Ottie now firmly part of the team, we decided it was finally time to celebrate properly—with the people we love most.
We originally planned a UK celebration, but the reaction to the idea of camping in a field in Derby was... less than enthusiastic. So we regrouped, and landed somewhere that felt far more us: prosecco, Italian food, and sunshine in Tuscany. Now, six years later, we’re finally doing it the way it was meant to be—dancing, drinking, bad decisions, and inevitable hangovers. Look forward to seeing you on the dancefloor.
